I love the days I can let my chickens roam,











I have learned not to give them too much freedom because they will head for the road when they're done with my compost.





I am going to miss these
golden fall days.


When it snows nether the chickens or I want to get out.

    Such lovely girls! As I have not experienced living with chickens in the winter, do they like to go out in their pen? Any words of wisdom you can offer I would appreciate. Are some of your chicken's broilers? Oh, lordy I cannot go there!

    Wow, what beautiful chickens you have. Their colors are so nice and they look content.

    I think it would be so neat to collect eggs every day.

    I agree -- they are beautiful. They look like they enjoy their time in the garden. I can't wait to have chickens. Some day!
