I Painted most of these bird paintings in 2006. I just haven't been able to get in the zone since, I hope I don't have to be in major pain in order to get back to the painting zone.
Painting is my favorite winter sport cause that about all the exercise I get.
Lately I have been busy gardening and going to rummage sales, and trying to get rid of all the extra stuff we don't need any more,
I haven't had a successful rummage sale since I moved from Muncie I live in a neighborhood that was a hot bed for rummages, one time I sold everything but one box full of stuff, it was amazing.
Now I live in the boonies and no one will come this far for a sale, pulse I don't have toys or cute baby cloths to sale.
I am have a bear of a time getting good pictures of my paintings, they all look blurry, I have other paintings I would blog but the pic quality is as embarrassing as my punctuation and spelling ability. praise God for the person who invented spell check. Jenny
Today it rained, so I'm stuck inside, so I took time to try to figure out the camera and finally got some good shots of some of my paintings,. This painting Jack-O-Lantern and Carolina wren was finished in fall of 2006 I was in a lot of pain with a really bad root canal, every time the tooth was capped I would be in pain, so I kept having to go back to have it worked on. It was bad. I was so glade to have something positive to focus on. It has been so long since I have blogged, I been trying to use another format to blog with but can not seam to get the code in just right.
I have a question, I made myself a follower of Jenny wren's nest and found someone else is using the same blog name, or its an old one. What will happen if she would start to blog again ? Jenny
I have a lot of pictures I could show, but being a rookie at this I think I better keep it as simple as I can for now.
I can't figure out how to get the pictures to go and stay where I put them, when I publish my post they aren't in the same spot they were when I previewed it.
The corn is up and looking good, My editor used to call them sprouties, I think that's cute. she gets mad this year when we call them that, I don't know why I think it is a clever use of words.
Isn't our new baby chick cute, I love getting chicks in the spring , they are as funny as toddlers, you can give them a leaf of salad lettuce and they will run around with it like playing keep away. They can't help giving it away that they have the prize and no one else can have it.
Baby chicks are a lot of work, you have to keep them warm and they poop a lot, and keeping them safe from dogs and cats and other chickens , we always loose at least one every time.
